About

Lidia Gurian

My name is Lidia Gurian and I have loved the world of art since I was a child. I studied goldsmithing at the Pietro Selvatico art school and then went on to Multimedia Arts at Iuav University of Venice.

I took up photography at seventeen, driven by the wish to tell the world through a personal gaze.

I am a creative person with almost ten years of experience in photography, graphic design and digital communication.

Photography is my tool: through the lens I try to let images speak, to tell emotions and atmospheres, creating a visual dialogue that moves and involves. In portraits I always try to connect with people: they are not just clients, but souls with a story to tell.

Along the way I have created visual projects for brands, professionals and cultural organisations, combining technical skills and artistic sensitivity. I have shown my photographic projects in three solo exhibitions: two at Palazzetto Widmann in Bagnoli di Sopra (2022 and 2024), in collaboration with the Kaleidoscopio association, and one in 2025 at the Tempietto di San Martino in Chioggia.

Each exhibition was a chance to enter into dialogue with the setting, placing the works in harmony with exhibition spaces full of history and charm.

My goal is to keep developing my visual and artistic language, turning every project into an emotional and authentic experience.
